KZMU Moab Community Radio

Art education is the theme of the latest Art Talks, as host Richard Codd explores the ‘Summer Snow’ program at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. He first speaks with co-directors Brad Taggart and Adam Larsen on the art workshops, which feature everything from portrait sculpture to charcoal drawing and jewelry making. Next (19:00), instructor and Summer Snow founder Carl Purcell discusses his technique and perspective as a watercolor artist. And later in the show, some field audio of students in the program as well as an artist from the Moab Arts and Recreation Center’s Market on Center.
