Science On Tap

Science Moab at Woody’s Tavern hosts the final Science On Tap of the winter season. We will be joined by ecologist Dr. Rebecca Finger-Higgens, who will be presenting about her research on the recovery of woodlands, wildflowers, and the ecosystem as a whole after the Pack Creek fire in the La Sal Mountains – and the implications of this research for the more recent Babylon Fire. Her program, entitled “(After) Fire on the Mountain: Ecological Recovery Following Pack Creek Fire,” connects local research to the Moab community – with important and timely implications for other wildfires. Doors open at 5:30pm. The talk will begin at 6pm and end around 7pm. Free!
