Marty Durlin on Uranium the Musical

On today’s extended newscast, we speak with Marty Durlin – the writer and director of the forthcoming KZMU radio drama, “Uranium the Musical.” Rehearsals are now in full swing as local actors prepare to re-create Moab’s cast of characters from the 1950s. Local figures like Charlie Steen, Ed Abbey and Milt (of Milt’s Stop N’ Eat) make appearances alongside fictional newcomers. Marty’s original play blends a touch of mystery and noire with Moab’s boomtown era, and she fills us in about the plot and her own creative process. Tune in!
