BRIEF BIO: I’ve been a KZMU DJ since May of 2021. I had been coming to the station to do
the weekly newsreel with KZMU reporters and found the idea of having a music show
compelling. I moved to Moab in 2018 after being named editor of The Times-Independent, a job I still
hold. While my position has been fulfilling, I took it because I wanted to live in Moab, where the
scenery is beautiful and so are the people. Most of them, anyway.

WHAT CAN LISTENERS EXPECT FROM YOUR SHOW?: Pickers & Poets, features songs
from the Americana and alt-country genres, with a focus on solid acoustic instrumentation and
soul-piercing lyrics. I enjoy this brand of music and I love to share it with KZMU listeners.
