Date of event: April 25th & May 2nd, 9am – 1pm
Location: Youth Garden Project
Our Annual Plant Sale includes a large variety of locally-grown vegetable starts, herbs, native perennials, ground covers, flowering perennials, and fruit trees. Plants are grown using sustainable practices by responsible growers. YGP Farm Crew starts planting in our greenhouse in late winter, and hardens-off many of the plants a few weeks before the sale.
The sale features thousands of starts grown at YGP, including many beloved varieties and a handful of new ones sourced from regional seed purveyors. The sale will also include annual and perennial plants and trees from local grower Wildland Scapes and plant starts from Canyon Nursery. YGP staff and interns will be available to answer your questions about plant varieties. Stay tuned for more info on what fantastic varieties will be offered this year!
All proceeds from the sale support YGP’s youth and community programs. Get a few native plants for your yard, the best tomatoes in the valley for your garden, and so much more while supporting YGP’s mission of cultivating healthy children, families, and community through educational programs and the profound act of connecting people with food from seed to table.
