River historian, author, and archivist Roy Webb will discuss his background as a scholar of Colorado and Green River history, the books his work inspired, and the creation of the Utah River Running Archives.
Webb was an archivist with the Special Collections Department, J. Willard Marriott Library, University of Utah, from 1983 until 2018.
His books include:
“Lost Canyons of the Green River: The Story Before Flaming Gorge Dam”
“High, Wide, and Handsome: The Colorado River Journals of Norman D. Nevills”
“Riverman: The Story of Bus Hatch; Call of the Colorado”
