Former proprietor of the Poplar Place, Joe Kingsley, tells many stories of the well-loved establishment on Thought For Food. Host Tim Buckingham learns about the tavern’s days as a community gathering spot and its famous sourdough pizza. The establishment has an incredible history – ZZ Top, a brothel, wild Halloween parties, and Basque shepards all played a role in creating its legend.
