(Left) Freshly signed to Sub Pop, Omni has released their third album Networker, with a slightly more high-fidelity showcasing of their Gang of Four/Television-style licks. (Right) 25-year old songwriter and violinst Brittney Parks, who records as Sudan Archives, has already stamped out quite a name for herself with her 2017 self-titled EP, genre-defying singles, and multiple collaborations. With Athena, she continues to melt deft violin licks with soulful electronic R&B and lush vocals, edifying her unique and essential voice in the current musical landscape. Watch the video for her song “Confessions” below!
