Moab Area Travel Council, Chamber of Commerce on a Halted Economy – This Week in Moab

It’s said that in the economic fallout from COVID-19, travel and tourism will be the hardest sectors hit and slowest to recover. On the latest This Week in Moab, we chat with local experts helping to strategize better outcomes for Grand County. Guests are Elaine Gizler, executive director of the Moab Area Travel Council, Laici Shumway, executive director of the Moab Chamber of Commerce, as well as travel council advisory board members and business owners Howard Trenholme and Jason Taylor. The conversation covers the new roles of these organizations during a time where nonessential visitation is restricted, and where the future health and safety of the community relies on social distancing. Tune in.
