The results are in – all three incumbents have won four more years on the Moab City Council. The preliminary election returns show Rani Derasary coming out on top with 922 votes, Tawny Knuteson-Boyd at 913, and Kalen Jones with 900. And in neighboring San Juan County, 51% of voters do not want to create a study committee to change their form of government. Plus later in the news, the U.S. House passed the CORE Act, which would protect 400,000 acres of public land for wilderness and recreation in Colorado.
