State epidemiologist Dr. Angela Dunn says Utah is experiencing “a real and dramatic” rise in the spread of COVID-19. Utah recently reported new record case highs with 586 on Friday and 643 on Saturday. Governor Gary Herbert called for more personal responsibility among Utahans, and said he continues to be “very concerned” about case counts threatening hospital capacities. Plus, Western senators react to the Great American Outdoors Act. And later, as contractors continue to install new barriers across the U.S.-Mexico border, residents protesting ecological damage feel ignored.
