KZMU News: Friday June 19, 2020

Listener, in the spirit of flexibility and experiment, we’re changing things up with our Friday news programming to bring you one chunky program. We’ll combine our Get An Earful and Times-Independent roundup, occasionally throwing in an extra or two. So on this inaugural test run, we start with a feature story from a radio partner on Juneteenth, a day commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. Then, we’ll hear an excerpt from a conversation on This Week in Moab with a Black Lives Matter Moab organizer. And finally, we have our weekly conversation with The Times-Independent.
