Today on Earful, we hear an excerpt from Cry Me A River, an incredible audio piece produced by the Kitchen Sisters and Martha Ham. At the heart of the story is Glen Canyon and the river runners and activists who fought against its dam. For more on this topic, check out Glen Canyon: A River Guide Remembers, a temporary exhibit at the John Wesley Powell River History Museum in Green River. It features Glen Canyon as it was before the waters of Lake Powell drowned its ancient artifacts and sacred sites. It’s open for just one more week, until March 23rd.
