“Escalante’s Dream” on Radio Book Club

On the latest Radio Book Club, your hosts interview author David Roberts about his most recent title – Escalante’s Dream: On The Trail of the Spanish Discovery of the Southwest. In the book, Roberts blends the historical and the personal as he re-traces the steps of the Franciscan Dominguez-Escalante 1776 expedition from Santa Fe towards the West Coast. Then, later in the show, hosts from the Grand County Library and Back of Beyond Books review several books that graced their nightstands this month. Hear their thoughts and recommendations on August’s Radio Book Club.
