In order to receive the $50 check you must meet the following REQUIREMENTS:
– Attended high school at any of the following: Grand County High School, Student Career and Success Center, and/or the Heron School
– Began high school in 2020
– Did NOT participate in the School to Science Program

Community Blood Drive

There will be a community blood drive with Vitalant at Moab Regional Hospital on Tuesday August 4th from 10:30AM to 2:30PM. The blood drive will take place in the Recovery Center parking lot, located at 382 W Care Campus Drive in Moab. Participants should look for the Vitalant blood donation van. The Home Energy Assistance Target (HEAT) program

The Home Energy Assistance Target (HEAT) program helps low income households with year round energy costs.
You may be eligible if:
• Your total household income is at or below 150% of the federal
poverty level. For example, a family of four making $4,125 or less
monthly could qualify.
• Your household is responsible to pay home energy costs
• Your household has at least one adult (18 years or older or
emancipated)
• Your household includes at least one U.S. citizen or qualified noncitizen
• Your utility account credit balance must be below $500

Call for Artists – Durango Autumn Arts Festival

Applications are open for the 32nd Durango Autumn Arts Festival presented by the Durango Arts Center, on September 19 & 20, 2026. This fine arts and crafts juried show serves as the DAC’s signature fundraising event, and there is a $50 nonrefundable application fee. The application deadline is May 1, and forms are available online at www.durangoarts.org.

Moonflower Co-op is now accepting spring 2026 Seeds to Start Grant applications!

Attention local non-profits, grassroots organizations, and individuals! Moonflower is now accepting applications for THEIR spring 2026 Seeds to Start Grant! This grant aims to fund local projects that promote holistic community wellness, increase local food production/security, and/or uplift underserved populations in need. One applicant will receive up to $1,000 for their project or purchase. The deadline to apply is May 15th. Attention talented bakers of Moab! Do you want to get paid to make delicious treats for our community? Moonflower Community Co-op is now hiring a baker to add to our Datura Deli team! Our bakers are responsible for producing a wide variety of baked goods from scratch daily using local, organic, non-GMO, and natural ingredients. The deli staff ensures the coolers and deli case are stocked with everything necessary for a busy day of cooking and assembling all our grab-and-go foods. Moonflower Community Cooperative is seeking a hardworking, responsible individual for a new position that includes Point-of-Sales System Assistant duties with flexibility for optional cashier shifts. This role is primarily responsible for assisting with managing our point-of-sales system, including maintaining our product database and accurate pricing. Additional responsibilities as a cashier may include operating cash registers, assisting customers, assisting with processing truck deliveries, and stocking. This is a part- to full-time, year-round position. Must be available on Mondays and Fridays. Compensation includes a competitive wage depending on experience and responsibilities, plus benefits.
