BRIEF BIO: I moved to Moab after recently graduating from college and am stoked to be experiencing the wild west! When I'm not working as a field biologist, you'll probably find me birding, hiking, or enjoying the simple delights around town. Through 4 years of college radio and an obscene amount of concerts, I have fallen in love with how music can form a community and I am so grateful to have found that community in KZMU.

BRIEF BIO: I have called Moab home in various forms for almost 10 years, working for and with various non-profits. Now my work consists of building accessible and inclusive pathways for outdoor education programming and natural spaces to be a place of belonging, connectivity, and healing for all. On a personal side you can find me exploring the natural wonders of Utah with my border collie companion, nurturing some artistic hobbies like water coloring and pottery, adventuring to find the next best place to eat and coffee shop to sip some brew as well as read a book. I have wanted to be a KZMU DJ for a long time, and this year I finally decided to take the leap and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. I am really happy to be a part of the KZMU community. 

WHAT CAN LISTENERS EXPECT FROM YOUR SHOW?: Eklectica is a 2 hour show serving eclectic throwback mixes with a sprinkle of current. We will take musical journeys through different decades, genres, as well as regions within the US and abroad.  No show will be the same, a true adventure on the airwaves full of joy, nostalgia, and some serious serotonin!

 Brief Bio - I'm a 5th Gen Moabite(my peeps came in with the dirt). Love doing anything/everything outdoors, love animals & can't resist taking in strays. Work at City pool (almost 30 years) and HMK Elementary (15 years) Had every job under the sun like road construction, parks and streets worker, maintenance, waitress, cook, movie and commercial crew and extra, retail manager, housekeeping, etc.
 Started as a DJ at KZMU when we were broadcasting out of the scary old trailer with no inside toilet over 20+ years ago as a sub for Dr Donna do ya wanna and then moved into the Moab Mama's spot she vacated, asked the man next door (Jeff) if I could do my own show on Sat am a few years later and that's how the Desert Deva was born!
  
 What can listener's expect from your show? Just about anything! I have a very eclectic taste in music as I like a little bit of everything so you never know what you're going to hear on my show. I do stick mostly to music from the 70's to Now and anything from rock, pop, techno, disco, metal, folk, country rock and alternative, anything to keep your buns movin!

 BRIEF BIO: New(ish) to Moab after many years of bopping around seasonally in the West. I'm from East LA originally, which was lucky because it's an ideal place to spend your teenage years doing what 16 year olds do best: being angsty, writing songs in your bedroom, and creeping around shows trying to meet your favorite indie rock bands. College was when my love of music and radio really blossomed. I started performing regularly, helped put on a few shows, got my first radio show (<3 u WBOR), and joined management as the folk music director. I am beyond stoked to make a home in the desert and to be back in the studio again! Especially in a rad place like Moab. 
 WHAT CAN LISTENERS EXPECT FROM YOUR SHOW?: Every week we'll explore a new concept or theme- sometimes I'll bring in guests and other times it's just me waxing poetic about girl bands, new beginnings, chicano music, or relationships. Genre-wise, it's a solid mix! A lot of Indie rock, a good bit of country twang, songs of the sad girl persuasion, some oldies, some rock, some lo-fi electronic with 90's pop and hip hop throwbacks sprinkled in.
