Tribal Connections to Arches National Park

Full Description:

At this special presentation, Dr. Richard Stoffle from the University of Arizona’s Bureau of Applied Research in Anthropology will share findings from the recently completed Ethnographic Overview and Assessment of Arches National Park. Participating tribes shared traditional ecological knowledge, stories of what park features mean to them, and how park resources continue to play a role in their ongoing cultural practices.
