Born in 2013, Youth Rock Camp Moab was started by Moab Musicians Amy Stocks and Josie Kovash. Youth Rock Camp Moab works in collaboration with other local musicians, the Moab Teen Center, KZMU as the sponsoring organization — and the kids themselves, who learn an instrument, write a song and perform it, all in four days.

WHEN:
Spring Break. Tuesday, March 27th – March 30th. 9 AM to 5PM
Final showcase/performance: The MARC stage room Fri, the 30th, 7 PM

WHERE:
Moab, Utah. Grand County Middle School & Moab Arts and Recreation Center

COST:
$100 per camper. Scholarships available.

CAMPER REQUIREMENTS:
Must be between 8 and 17 years old. No musical experience necessary.

WHAT IS PROVIDED:
Instruments, small group instrument instruction, large group workshops, lunch, snacks, ear-plugs, costume supplies, etc.

INSTRUMENT ASSIGNMENT:
Campers will be assigned instruments on a first-come first-served basis based on their top three choices in their application.
