KZMU Fall Radiothon October 13-21

By October 2, 2017Announcement!

They said it couldn’t be done. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting told us we couldn’t run a radio station on our shoestring budget and withdrew the station’s major source of funding two years ago. But so far, KZMU has proved them wrong — because our community has come together to keep us going. The City of Moab declared KZMU Day in April as we celebrated a quarter-century of community radio, and we can only say, thank you! KZMU, even more than other public media, needs your continued, generous support.
And it’s the last chance for those 25th anniversary T-shirts, hats and pint glasses! We have new T-shirt colors and long-sleeved styles (modeled here by KZMU Manager Marty Durlin and Admin/Accountant Kik Grant) and we’ve added hats to this Fall’s premium offerings. We’ll be pitching our tent at City Market from 10 am-6 pm as usual, but on Saturday, October 14th, you’ll find KZMU’s bright orange tent at the Street Fair in front of the MARC from noon-8 pm.
A membership in KZMU is only $35 and entitles you to discounted entrance to KZMU events. Coming up in February we’ll be presenting our annual live radio drama at Star Hall, with other events to follow throughout the year. So join us and rejoin us! Keep the local voices and music coming your way by contributing during this Fall Radiothon.
