Abundant Life Social Services, a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization (NPO) located in Syracuse, Utah announces the use of telemedicine, also referred to as remote mental health therapy through their partnership with Doxy.me, a HIPAA compliant and secure telemedicine that is easy to use for both clients and clinicians. This service will allow individuals living in rural parts of Utah the same level of mental health care that can be found in larger cities.
Advances in telemedicine have allowed technology and behavioral sciences to merge allowing greater access to mental health services in areas of the State of Utah that do not support a local mental health agency.
Abundant Life Social Services is pleased to announce it now provides telemedicine throughout the State of Utah without restrictions, allowing patients to have their mental health condition assessed, diagnosed, treated, and monitored through the use of their own smart phone, tablet, or personal computer (PC).
Abundant Life Social Services has entered into a partnership with Doxy Me. The company Doxy Me was designed as a simple and secure web-based video solution for clinicians and their patients.
